The central motif of scroll design, to a bicoloured link necklace, set with single-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 350mm, central motif detaching to form a brooch.
Condition
Indistinct marks to pin fittings, reverse of brooch and clasp tongue. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats. Articulated necklace attached to central element via tension fittings, each signed Mecan, each with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and French maker's marks. Secure clasp with safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the mounting, scratches consistent with use. Brooch fittings in good working order. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 83 grams.
