Renata Tebaldi (1922-2004) was an Italian opera singer, renowned for the beauty and power of her soprano voice, as well as her intense, media-fuelled rivalry with Maria Callas. A museum dedicated to her life and works was established at the Villa Pallavicino in Busseto in 2014.

Weingrill, established in Verona in 1879, are renowned for their skilled gold work, producing chains for numerous jewellery houses, including Cartier and Tiffany & Co. They are perhaps best-known for their early necklaces of gas pipe linking, later revived by Bulgari in their famed 'Tubogas' style.
