The hinged collar with a central section pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and set with polished carnelian, lapis lazuli, onyx and chalcedony in the form of two facing birds in the ancient Egyptian style, between sections of polished chrysoprase bordered with black enamel, inner circumference approximately 350mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks. 

Signed to reverse Van Cleef Arpels , numbered B448015, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00-1.30 carats. Carnelian, lapis lazuli, onyx and chalcedony with some light surface wear and scratches. Hinge in good working order, very minor dent on edge. Light surface scratches to metal surfaces. Overall condition good. Gross weight approximately 89 grams.
