Comprising: a necklace, composed of articulated foliate scroll links, set with brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, supporting a graduated fringe of pear-shaped rubies, length approximately 370mm, two extra links; a brooch, set with brilliant-, single-cut, oval, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds and oval rubies; and a bracelet of similar design, length approximately 185mm.

Condition

Brooch and bracelet each stamped 750 for 1 carat gold. Rubies varying between pinkish and orangey red, transparent, with minor typical inclusions mostly apparent under magnification, some visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Ruby in brooch measuring approximately 7.1 x 6.9 x 3.2mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.20 carats, largest ruby in necklace measuring approximately 8.4 x 5.0 x 2.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 0.7 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 9.00 - 11.00 carats in bracelet, approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats in brooch, approximately 9.00 - 11.00 carats in necklace. Necklace and bracelet links well-articulated, clasps and brooch pin secure. Bracelet width approximately 26mm at widest point, brooch measuring approximately 35 x 47mm. Scratches to metal and stone surfaces consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Case stamped Chr. Vitzthum Juwelier Munchen. 9.00 - 11.00 carats in necklace.
