The pendant set with a rectangular step-cut emerald, within a circular-cut diamond foliate surround, suspended from a similar-set bow surmount, to a necklace composed of graduated pinched collet-set circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, length approximately 435mm, detachable brooch fitting, fitted case.

Condition

Verbal report from GCS, stating that the emerald was found to be of Colombian origin, with evidence of moderate clarity enhancement, possibly enhancing colour. Emerald mid to deep green, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some areas of light chipping to facet edges, measuring approximately 11.5 x 9.9 x 6.9mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.50 carats. Estimated total diamond weight in pendant approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats. Pendant bale detachable, screw thread in back of pendant, for attachable brooch fitting. Brooch fitting in good working order. Rivière diamonds bright and lively, estimated to be approximately H-K on average, VS-SI clarity on average, some I included, estimated total diamond weight in rivière approximately 18.00 - 20.00 carats. Links well-articulated, clasp secure with additional safety chain. Metal with discolouration and scratches commensurate with age and wear. Overall dimensions of pendant approximately 58 x 41mm. Combined gross weight approximately 46 grams. Overall in good condition. Fitted box, the front initialled F.H.
