In overall good appearance. One saucer with a hairline crack to rim edge. Extended firing crack to lip terminal of milk jug. To coffee pot, restoration to lower terminal of handle and area of footrim, the cover finial restored and possibly an area of restoration to rim. Faint hairline crack to rim of spoon tray. Two coffee cup handles restored, another with the lower tip of the handle restored. The teapot with body crack, the cover perhaps Meissen porcelain, flat chip to underside and finial restored.

It is exceptionally rare to find such a complete tea and coffee service in Fulda porcelain. As well as this remarkable survival another is the service in the Schloßmuseum, Fulda, also decorated en grisaille with classical medallions, illustrated by Ernst Kramer, Fuldaer Porzellan in hessischen Sammlungen, Fulda, 1978, abb. 25.
