Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the colors of the exterior glaze are slightly softer and present with a wide array of hues, including kelp green, mauve, wheat yellow, burgundy, and flecks of royal blue and russet brown. The interior presents with sandy browns and moss green, the latter concentrated mainly around the inner lip and interior base. There is minor craquelure throughout the interior and exterior surfaces, visible on close inspection, as well as minor scattered particulate inclusions throughout, inherent to the production. The vase with a small raised surface irregularity on the widest point of the vase which presents a deep maroon on a blue ground, visible in the catalogue illustration and inherent to the production; this area with some very minor retouching. The edge of the fold immediately above this irregularity with a small area of sensitive and professional restoration measuring approximately ½ in. and overpaint measuring approximately ⅝ x 1 ½ in., not visually distracting and only visible under strong blacklight. A highly imaginative and playful work with an impressive ruffled freeform edge that exemplifies the mastery of Ohr's technique.
