Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the exterior glaze presents with a variegated range of seafoam green, brick red, turquoise, and mauve tones, with blue mottling scattered throughout. The interior glaze with olive green tones and hints of ruby red to a few areas along the inner rim. There is minor craquelure throughout the interior and exterior surfaces, visible on close inspection, as well as minor scattered particulate inclusions and air bubbles throughout, inherent to the production. The upper rim with a minor fleck to the glaze measuring approximately 1/4 inch long, possibly inherent to the production. The underside of the base with three small losses to the glaze, exposing the bisque below, inherent in the production and due to the glaze sticking to the kiln shelf, the largest measuring approximately 1/4 x 1/2 inch, none of which is visible when the vase is upright. An exquisite form that reveals the high degree of craftsmanship displayed throughout Ohr’s body of work.
