The silver surfaces with minor surface scratches, a few nicks to the rim, and some rubbing concentrated to the edges of the underside, all not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle handling. The silver with some minor tarnishing, and the interior with some isolated areas of discoloration. The lid with some minor shallow denting concentrated to the edges, consistent with age and gentle use. The enamel presents with a variegated ground of emerald green and gold tones; the branches with are beautifully iridized, which is not fully captured in the catalogue illustration. The enamel also with a few particulate inclusions inherent to the design, not visually distracting. An attractive and finely executed work with boldly defined colors to the enamel.
