Overall in very good condition. The surfaces with minor surface scratches and nicks, and the underside with some rubbing concentrated to the edges, consistent with age and gentle use and not visually distracting. The silver with some tarnishing concentrated to the edges and recesses of the design. The enamel with a few minor air bubbles and particulate inclusions, inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The interior with some minor remnants of tarnish remover concentrated to the edges and recesses of the design which could be removed, not visually distracting. The gold plating with very minor isolated areas of rubbing, not visually distracting. An intricate and colorful object illustrating a defining motif of the era.
