Condition
Overall in very good condition. The silver surfaces with minor surface scratches and scattered abrasions, with some instances of minor scuffs and rubbing concentrated to the edges of the undersides, all consistent with age and gentle use and not visually distracting. The interior of each piece with minor traces of oxidation. The teapot with a few isolated instances of deeper scratches on the lid and around the handle, the longest measuring approximately 3/4 inch long. The underside edge of the creamer with two slightly more pronounced indentations. The ebony elements with minor surface scratches, scuffs, and some fading, consistent with age and gentle use. The ebony handle of the creamer with a hairline crack measuring approximately 1 ½ in. long. The tray with some isolated areas of discoloration and possible water staining, and one corner of the underside with an area of adhesive residue measuring approximately 5/8 x 1 in. A sleek and refined example of the Austrian Secessionist style.
