Overall in very good condition. Except for the white underside of the barrow, most of the surfaces appear to have been repainted at some point and present with some minor craquelure, light surface soiling, and isolated spotting, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle handling. The front proper right corner of one yellow panel with minor wear. The proper right side of the basin is loose and would benefit from stabilization. The basin with two instances and the wheel with one instance of lifting to the wood, measuring approximately 1 ¼ x 1 ½ inches, ¾ x 1 1/8 inches, and 2 ¼ x 7/8 inches, respectively. The paint covering the nailheads to the sides of the wheel is lifting and missing in some areas, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. A charming example of Rietveld’s designs for children.
