Condition

Overall in very good condition. The metal surfaces with some scattered minor scuffs scratches and very minor indentations consistent with age and gentle handling. The interiors with minor scattered oxidation. The teapot with an area 1 inch below the rim near the handle with an isolated area of silver plating which is lifting from the body and measures approximately 1 1/8 x 7/8 inch. The base of the handle near the join of the body with minor losses to the silver plating as partially visible in the catalog illustration. One side of the spout with a gentle bend. One side of the upper long edge of the handle with a minor indentation which measures approximately 1/16 inch. The underside of the base with a minor loss to the silver plating measuring approximately 1/4 x 1/2 inch. The underside of the cover with a minor loss to the silver plating nearing approximately 1/16 inch. The ebonised wood in good condition. One side of the body of the creamer with an isolated area of silver plating which is lifting from the body and measures approximately 5/8 x 3 inches. The outer edge of the base with two shallow indentations, the larger measuring approximately 1/8 inch. The underside of the cover with two losses to the silver plating, the largest measuring approximately 5/8 x 1/4 inch and the edge of the outer rim with a shallow indentation measuring approximately 1/4 inch long. One side of the body of the sugar bowl with two isolated areas of silver plating which is lifting from the body, the larger located near the handle and measures approximately 5/8 x 3/8 inch. The outer rim of the cover with a very minor abrasion which measures approximately 1/8 inch. An exceptional and rare of design from the American Industrial Age.
