Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces with minor surface scratches, rubbing, consistent with age and gentle use. The wood veneer also with some fine shrinkage, as consistent with the natural aging of the material. The proper right side of the backrest with a rectangular discoloration measuring approximately 1 3/8 x 7 inches. The metal frame has been repainted at some point and presents with minor surface scratches, a few chips to the paint, and some minor oxidation concentrated to the bases of the legs, all consistent with age and gentle use. The proper front left leg with a vertical white scuff measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches in length. An iconic and important design by Jean Prouvé.
