Overall in very good condition. The wood with faint surface scratches throughout, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle handling. The turned wood vessel with a few separations inherent to the wood that have been filled at the time of production, the largest of which runs the entire height of the vessel and is visible in the catalogue illustration. There are a few minor later vertical separations in the wood, the longest measuring approximately 6 inches, all of which appear stable. The underside with a few scattered shallow scuffs and dents, not visible when the vessel is upright. A monumental and impressive work by an American Studio icon.
