拍品資料及來源
This pair of candlesticks is very similar to the lower part of the six silver-gilt 'flambeaux de bureau' delivered by Martin-Guillaume Biennais in 1809 and 1811 for the Emperor at the Tuileries, and realised after drawings attributed to Charles Percier. The drawings are in the Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris (inv. CD 3251 and 3252, ill. in A. Dion-Tenenbaum, 2003, p. 83) and the candelabra are in the Musée du Louvre (inv. OA 9459), the Castle of Fontainebleau (inv. F1112C) and the Mobilier national (currently at the palais de l'Elysée).
