CASE Case in overall good vintage condition with light wear, scuffing, and light oxidation consistent with age. Tear drop lugs are well preserved. Case back with very light scuffing and superficial lines. Please note that the associated buckle is not by Vacheron Constantin, and not hallmarked. DIAL Dial in very good refinished condition. The dial was likely washed and and restored as indicated by some areas of the inner minute track and signature. Some very light dot surface markings and very light debris. MOVEMENT The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Vacheron Constantin Archives confirms that the watch was manufactured in 1949 with a reference number 4218,
