An archive photograph of Wolfers studio shows an inkstand of the same model, with an openwork globe (see W. Adriaenssens and R. Steel, The Wolfers Dynasty, from Art Nouveau to Art Deco, Antwerp, 2006, p. 36). Another inkstand of the same model has been made by Jacques Froment-Meurice (1864-1948), son of the famous silversmith, Emile.
