The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals scattered spots of retouching towards the edges and one larger area toward the left of the upper edge measuring approx 4 by 8cm. The canvas is slightly undulating and there is evidence of frame abrasion to the extreme edges, which is not visible when framed. Overall this work is in good condition.
