Executed on a copper support. The support is sound and affixed to the over-mount along the edges of the verso. Remnants of old framer's tape are visible on the verso. The pigment is richly textured and well preserved. There is some stable hairline shrinkage in the pigment towards the edges of the composition but there are no losses visible. There is an artist's pinhole in the upper right corner and a 3mm vertical surface scratch in the sky at upper left. This work is in overall very good condition.
