The Estate of the Artist
Condition
The board appears to be adhered to the slip of the frame in all four corners. There are a number of small flecks of paint loss and minor scuffs to the surface of the board, which all appear to be in keeping with the Artist's intentions and working methods. There is a further study by the same hand to the verso. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The board is float mounted within a painted wooden box frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
