Acquired directly from the Artist by Roger Mayne in the late 1960s

The sheet is secured to the mount with a tab of adhesive tape in each corner. There are a number of light creases to the sheet, including to the upper right corner, in the centre towards the upper edge and along the lower edge. There are a couple of very small nicks to the centre of the left edge. There are some flecks of foxing and possible staining to the sheet along the right edge and towards the left edge, and one possible further fleck to the upper left corner. There is some surface dirt and studio matter throughout. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
