New York, Davis & Langdale Company, Gwen John, 3rd April - 28th May 1993, cat. no.18.

Condition

The sheet is adhered to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape in the upper corners. The lower left corner is very slightly folded over with an additional light crease. There are also one or two extremely minor nicks to the lower and left edges, none of which are visible in the present mount. There appears to be very minor time staining around the window of the mount and one or two flecks of rubbing to the surface of the paper towards the upper edge and towards the right of the lower edge. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
