Condition
Both with surface dirt and chips along the edges and to the high points consistent with age and handling. The Woman's proper left hand is missing. There is a small loss to her nose and another one to her proper left cheek (probably due to the firing). A few firing fissures are visible in several places, consistent with the material. The Man's proper left hand and proper right small finger are missing with the knife he was holding in the hand. The border of his hate with a few small losses may have been slightly retouched.
