Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a lacuna to the back of the head, which appears to be original to the cast. There is some rubbing to the lacquer patina at the high points. There is dust and some dryness in the crevices of the hair and drapery. There is some greening in the crevice behind the tablet. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to the figure's hands and to the terrasse. The terrasse does not sit quite level on an even surface.
