Condition
The canvas is lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. No damages are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small spots of retouching scattered in the sails, as well as retouchings scattered in the sky and along the left, upper and right edges, but otherwise the work appears to be in very good condition. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with minor losses.
