Condition
Very good condition overall. Chips, scratches, marks and abrasions throughout consistent with the object’s age and use within the culture. Breaks and unravelling to the woven fibre in places. Many shells missing from the detachable top of the headrest but teeth additions intact. Good preservation of the pigment on the mask, minor flaking in some places for example the proper right eye. Small label bearing Elizabeth Pryce collection inv. no. EP-60 to reverse of mask.
