À l’œil nu : En dehors des manques visibles sur la photographie au niveau du front de la Vierge, le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Il est peint sur un panneau constitué d’une planche non parquetée. Il est sous un vernis très sale, épais et ancien. À la lampe U.V. : Le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert épais uniforme. On remarque une légère reprise au niveau du bas du visage de la Vierge. To the naked eye : Except for the losses in the Virgin’s forehead (visible on the picture) the painting appears in a satisfactory condition. It is painted on a panel made of a non-cradled plank. It is under an old, thick and very dirty varnish. Under U.V. light : The painting appears under a green thick and uniform varnish. We notice a slight retouching in the lower face of the Virgin.
