Condition
This is a large sculpture. It is fragile and must be handled with care. The sculpture was formed in parts and then joined together. Some of the joins are weak–the join between the head and neck is loose, the join between the inner right thigh and hip has come apart with a dent in the inner thigh. Accretions and oxidation scattered throughout the surface, particularly in the hands, knees and adjacent areas, hip and skirt. Further dents and wear to the surface due to age. The figure is missing its companion element which would have likely been the same size. The face has lost gilding. The head is missing a headdress and has lost its polychromy. Handle with care.
