Centering an oval-shaped demantoid garnet measuring approximately 9.1 x 7.7 x 4.8 mm, flanked by old mine-cut diamonds, size 6¼.
Condition
In good condition, the mounting with little sign of wear. Mounting tests as 18 karat gold.The demantoid garnet estimated to weigh approximately 2.50 carats, is strongly yellowish green, with typical demantoid horsetail inclusions, and a small chip to facet junction visible under 10x magnification. The two side diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.90 carat, are approximately M-N color, VS clarity, with some nicks and abrasions to facet junctions.
