In good condition especially given the date of this piece, with light wear to the mounting. Mounting tests as 14 karat gold. The ruby, calculated to weight approximately 0.50 carats, is medium slightly purplish red, vividly saturated, loupe-clean, with abrasions to facet junctions. The sapphire, calculated to weight approximately 0.50 carats, is medium light blue, slightly included, with abrasions to facet junctions. The old European-cut diamond, calculated to weigh approximately 1.10 carat, is approximately I-J color, SI1 clarity. The remaining five diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.25 carat, are of similar color and clarity. The plique-à-jour enamel is in very good condition, near colorless with a light green hue.
