Suspending two tumbled emerald drops measuring approximately 13.7 x 11.9 and 12.6 x 13.0 mm, the chain composed of tumbled emerald beads ranging from approximately 8.7 x 7.8 to 8.3 x 7.0 mm, pearls ranging from approximately 7.7 x 6.0 to 7.0 x 5.9 mm and decorative gold links with figurative motifs, length 20 inches, with French assay mark; circa 1890.

In good condition, especially given the age of this piece, with minor wear and discoloration to the mounting. French assay mark for 18 karat gold located on male end of the clasp. The pearls are semi-baroque in shape, of ivory body color, with good overall skin, with some blemishes, good luster, some with soft rose overtones. The emeralds are medium green, heavily included, some with cavities and surface reaching inclusions visible under close inspection. Clasp closes securely and is fitted with a safety chain. Gross weight approximately 30 dwts. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
