Not examined out of the frame. Original unlined condition. Overall the surface presents well, aside from minor surface dirt and dust; finely patterned craquelure across the picture surface with a very few areas of associated minor loss and lifting, specifically on the main horse's belly, right rump and to the left of its proper right ear. Under UV: a full review of the surface is somewhat impeded by a thick fluorescing varnish, though there are no apparent retouches. Sold in a black wooden frame with a gold border. Not examined out of the frame.
