Comprising: a necklace composed of woven gold set with turquoise cabochons, carved emerald leaves, and round rubies and diamonds, length 14½ inches, numbered 13333, with French assay and workshop marks, one small emerald missing; a bracelet of similar design, length 6 inches, numbered 13334, with French assay and workshop marks; a matching ring, size 5¾, partially numbered 13335, two diamonds missing; and a pair of earclips en suite, one signed Mauboussin, numbered 13336, with French assay marks; circa 1960.
Condition
In good condition, with minor surface scratches to the mounting commensurate with wear. Only one earclip is signed Mauboussin, the other pieces are unsigned, but all are numbered. The necklace and bracelet have French workshop marks. French assay marks for gold and platinum, also with inscriptions PT900 and 750. The pear-shaped turquoise cabochon on the necklace measuring approximately 18.8 x 11.3 x 3.1 mm, the largest oval cabochon on the necklace measuring approximately 18.0 x 13.2 x 4.0 mm, the oval turquoise cabochon on the ring measuring approximately 15.8 x 11.6 x 4.7 mm; the turquoise is well matched in color, a very strongly greenish blue, with some visible light and dark matrix, easily visible on the reverse sides. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 5.00 carats, are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The ring originally included four small diamonds, two of which haven been removed from the design. The rubies, weighing a total of approximately 4.60 carats, are medium strongly purplish red, predominantly moderately included. The carved emeralds are medium light very slightly bluish green, heavily included, some with surface reaching inclusions, one on the ring with an eye-visible chip, one missing from the clasp on the necklace. Earring length approximately 1½ inches. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity dated March 12, 2018 from Mauboussin.
