Condition
Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The aluminum surfaces present with minor scattered surface scuffs, scratches and oxidation. The Bakelite with minor scattered rubbing. One screw cap on the bottom of the shade is missing and is visible in the printed and online catalogs. The glass liner does not appear to be original as stated in the printed catalogue and presents with very minor scattered flecks and chips to the upper and lower edges, which are not visible when installed. A beautiful example of American Machine Age design in very good condition. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and recommends having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
