Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with minor scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, dents, marks, minor areas of rubbing, and some surface soiling concentrated to the recesses of the design, all consistent with age and gentle use. There are natural knots, irregularities, and separations in the wood grain, typical for Inland fir, some of which have been reinforced with wood infill in some areas by Molesworth at the time of production. The surface of the bottom tier with a small concentration of black marks, the largest measuring approximately 2 in. long. The underside of the central tier with a concentrated area of white paint residue measuring approximately 4 x ¾ in., not visible when the stand is upright. The leather surfaces with some very minor surface scratches and dotted dents throughout, consistent with age and gentle use. The surface of the top tier with a very minor area of black paint residue measuring approximately 1/8 x 1/8 in. The hide surfaces in good, clean condition. The brass tacks with some minor surface scratches and areas of rubbing, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use.
