A VERY RARE PUBLICATION showing scenes from Spitsbergen, Finmark, Georgia, Khiva, the Pamirs, Tibet, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Singapore, Malaysia, among others. Only one copy recorded in OCLC: National Library of Scotland containing 96 plates. "The accompanying reproductions, in Autotype, of rough pen and ink and water-coloured sketches, made mostly by me at various times and in various places, constitutes the first volume in a projected series of drawings representing the result of thirty-five years' travel in different parts of the world. This first set of a hundred drawings I have entitled "From Arctic to the Equator," embracing, as they do, scenes from those Countries that lie between those two parallels of Latitude, viz. 8o. N. and the Line" (Preface).
