Arabic manuscript on paper, 236 leaves plus 1 fly-leaf, 18 lines to the page written in naskh in black ink, ruled in gold and black, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings written in red thuluth against a gold ground within a cartouche, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, catchwords, 3 gold and polychrome bifolia marking the opening, middle and end of the Qur’an, in fine lacquer binding
