拍品資料及來源

This page was probably the right hand side of a frontispiece from a manuscript produced in the Turkman region of Central Asia. The geometric decoration of the outside border recalls those found in a manuscript now in the Al-Sabah Collection (Inv. no. LNS 28 MS, published in Adamova and Bayani 2015, p.304) completed in 893 AH/1487-88 AD, while the style of interior, decorated with blue and white ceramic panels and polychrome detailed tiles, recalls others found in a contemporary Turkman manuscripts, for example Sotheby's London, 28 April 2004, lots 32 and 33, and more recently Sotheby's London, 25 April 2018 lot 64 and 65.
