Sassicaia 2006 Bolgheri Sassicaia, DOCBolgheri had an exceptionally warm June and July this year, although August was cooler. The first thing that impresses with this wine is its beautiful, elegant bouquet followed by a real cassis taste and such noble texture. There is real breed in the flavour and fruit. For the future, stylistic comparisons between the 2006 and the 2007 will be riveting.
