The round dial applied with day and year grids and laurel and star motifs in black and gold enamel, with two apertures revealing month and weekday cycles, rotating via a central cabochon moonstone knob, to a chased border and bezel applied with white and pale blue guilloché enamel, the reverse of ivory with a hinged strut, diameter approximately 80mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks. 

Strut with French assay marks for silver, indistinct maker's marks, additional indistinct marks to edge of bezel. Reverse signed Cartier, numbered 2136. Ivory with small area of loss to edge restored with plastic infill, one small break restuck. Dial and wheels rotating smoothly, some hairline cracks to porcelain dial. Guillloché enamel with some areas of damage. Moonstone approximately 6 x 6 x 7mm. Overall in good condition, consistent
