- Strauss Allard Meyer
Of rectangular form, the exterior applied with black lacquer, the lid with a stylised Chinese shou motif set with rose diamonds, opening to reveal a plain interior, measuring approximately 73 x 39 x 13mm, numbered, French assay marks and maker's mark for Strauss Allard Meyer.
Condition
French assay marks for silver and French maker's mark SAM with artist's pallet for Strauss Allard Meyer, numbered 5851. Lacquer with some areas of minor wear to extremeties, one chip restored to right hand side by hinge, overall in good condition. Hinge with good tension, closing securely. Gross weight approximately 70 grams. Overall in good condition. Later fitted case stampef F. Chiappe Gioielliere Genova.
