Of shield-shaped outline, the top set with a pearl measuring approximately 6.7mm diameter, the centre claw-set with a pear-shaped diamond weighing 1.55 carats, within a scrolled surround set with single-cut, pear-shaped, heart-shaped and baguette diamonds, signed Mauboussin, French assay marks and maker's marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum, French maker's mark L H with mistletoe for Heissler, 9 rue Augustin 75002 Paris. Pearl untested, measuring approximately 6.7mm diameter, cream body colour with rosé and green overtones, slightly oval in shape, with banding to nacre at reverse. In our specialists' opinion, the diamond weighing weighing 1.55 carats is approximately J/K colour, SI1 clarity, strong blue fluorescence. Estimated total weight of remaining diamonds approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats. Overall in good condition. Overall dimensions approximately 38 x 32mm, gross weight approximately 16.7 grams. Case stamped Bentley & Skinner.
