Executed on thick cream laid paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount at two places along the upper edge. The left, right and upper edges are deckled and the lower edge is unevenly cut. The verso of all four edges are adhered with old tape. There are fine lines of craquelure to the thicker pigment, predominantly to the darker green, which appears to be stable. There are some minor handling marks to the extreme edges, and some studio stains in places, notably in the centre of the lower left quadrant. This work is in overall good condition.
