Condition
The panel is sound. Examination under UV light reveals a milky layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating. However, there appear to be a few small spots of retouching to the sky in the upper left quadrant, to the red flower at the centre of the composition and to the green foliage in the lower right quadrant. There are fine lines of craquelure to the centre of the composition and evidence of minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.
