Gifted by the Artist to the present owner, circa 1980

The canvas is original. The paint surface is slightly rubbed at the extreme corners. There is some further, minimal rubbing to the lower edge. There are one or two isolated instances of slightly loose thread within the canvas, which have lifted. There are a small number of losses to the extreme tips of impasto, in keeping with the materials. There is an extremely faint diagonal scratch in the upper right quadrant. There is surface dirt and some instances of studio matter in places. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals fluorescence in keeping with the Artist's working methods and materials. The work is unframed.
