Condition
Standard surface abrasions, small losses, and chipping throughout including edges of Virgin's veil and edges of some hats. Some minor areas of worming throughout. Age cracks throughout. The ladder is a later replacement and the upraised arm holding it is probably an early restoration. Proper right leg of Christ from the lower thigh to his ankle is probably an early repair and is slightly loose (can easily be glued). Proper left arm (central section) of Christ may be a restoration. Some loss and consolidation to the back of the base. Now with a wooden bracket for stability. Overall good carving.
