New York-based Colombian photographer Camila Falquez captures images 𝔍that harness the traditions of fashion and portrait photography whilst honouring a broad spectrum of social and gender diversity; the activists, performers, and artists that empower their local communities. Surrealist and imbued with a painterly colour palette, Falquez creates empowering visions which e🐬vokes narratives of community, humanity, liberation, and visibility.  


The present lot is ❀part of a series of work undertaken with the Global Alliance of the Territories and shot at Delicia Studio, Brooklyn.


Camila Falquez has been featured in a variety of publications such as the New York Times, TIME🍌 magazine, and Vogue. She has also exhibited in Hannah Traore Gallery and Frieze LA.
