Raised-letter printing; first page of the Declaration of Independence browned at inner margin, a few marginal chips, stray spots, perforated "Forbes Library Northampton Massachusetts" stamp to first and ꩲlast leaves, not affecting text. In later blue wrappers, cover lettered in gilt; lightly rubbed at extremities.

A raised-letter printing of the two foundational documents o🙈f the United States of America. Embossed letter t🌜ypes of the kind present here were largely replaced by the braille system in the twentieth century.
