Christ driving the money-changers from the temple
Pen and brown and 𝓡black ink and gray and brown wash, within dark brown ink framing liꦏnes;
bears inscription in black chalk, verso: Honthorst
158 by 199 mm; 6¼ by 7⅞ in.
Though this drawing is a little more highly finished, the facial types are similar to those found in two drawings by this little known master representing episodes from the life of Christ, sold in Amsterdam some years ago.1
